COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. (KKTV) – Colorado Springs police said a gunman was on the run after a shooting at a shopping mall in broad daylight on Saturday afternoon.
This happened at a pet supply store near the King Soopers in Austin Bluffs and Academy. Police say they received a call about two men fighting there just after 1:00 p.m.
Detectives say one man shot the other and then left before officers arrived at the scene. They say the victim was taken to hospital, but he appears to have only minor injuries.
The CSPD is investigating what led to the shooting. They say it is possible that it started with a road rage incident.
At this time, detectives have no description of the suspect to share with the public.
