March 11 Cold War patch notes: playlists, MP bug fixes, and zombies

In the CoD: Black Ops Cold War campaign, there are three very different endings that players can achieve, and our guide will make sure you can see all three of them.

Call of Duty campaigns may not resonate as much as they did at the start of the series, as multiplayer has slowly taken over to become the dominant feature. Nonetheless, since Black Ops 4’s negative reception of a campaign’s total omission, every subsequent game has sought to include one.

This is the first campaign to feature on the next generation of consoles offering gamers highly customizable FPS settings and premium aim assist settings on PS5, Xbox Series X | S and PC.

Black Ops Cold War does well to continue the story of deep and intriguing stories that slowly turn into something weird and wonderful. This time, you are in the shoes of “Bell”, a CIA agent, and no need to take a surprising trip to the days of the Cold War.

Your actions can ultimately leave you with one of three different fates, we’ll go into each of them below and tell you how you can see them with your own eyes in Treyarch’s new campaign.

Spoiler Alert: The following contains details on the end of the Black Ops Cold War campaign.

Black Ops Cold War – Happy Ending

In order to properly prepare for the endings, you will need to trigger a result from a certain dialogue prompt during the “Identity Crisis” mission. After finding out that you have been brainwashed by the CIA, Adler will ask you where Perseus is.

From here you can choose to lie or tell Adler the truth about Perseus’ location. This choice will dictate whether you get the “good” or “bad” ending.

For the good end, you’re going to want to go ahead and choose the “TRUTH” option and reveal the correct location.

By deciding to tell Adler the truth, you will trigger the mission “The Final Countdown”, where you will stop Perseus’ attempt to unleash all Greenlight nukes across Europe. Upon successful completion, Adler will speak to you on a cliff above the shore of the island. At the end of this conversation, Adler will tell you that things were “never personal” and then the two of you will shoot your guns at each other.

Two shots are fired then the credits roll. It is not known whether the two characters die or only Bell.

To end the campaign with the first of the two bad endings, you’ll just need to go through the initial good ending steps. Only this time, when you ask the big question by Adler, will you select the answer “LIE”, thus setting up the team to be ambushed in Duga.

By choosing this option, Bell betrays the CIA and essentially condemns the team to be executed.

Once there, signal the attack and a rocket will be launched at the squad. You will be helped by an unknown comrade and from there you will have to kill Adler, Woods, Mason and the character you chose to save earlier.

In the end, you personally send the order to detonate the Greenlight nukes, and the man who helped you earlier reveals that Perseus is actually a bunch of people instead of one man, and you have is part of this group all the time.

In all fairness, there isn’t too much of a difference with this variant of the bad ending, but it ends in a slightly darker fate for Bell.

Once you’ve arrived in Duga for the ambush, you can simply choose not to notify Perseus of your arrival, which will allow Adler and the team to learn of Bell’s deception and kill him.

But it always ends with Perseus detonating nuclear weapons and striking a major blow in human history.

So there you have it, three different endings and all of which are very accessible in the grand scheme of things. The question is, which one will you choose to see first?
