The Boston Celtics finally seem to have taken a step and their goalkeeper is leading the wave.

Kyrie Irving was dominant Saturday night at the Staples Center, scoring 30 points in the Los Angeles Lakers 120-107 win. The victory earned Boston a 3-0 record on its current four-game West Coast Tour.

After the game, Celtics striker Marcus Morris credited Irving with his role in the turnaround.

Here is what Morris had to say, via Gary Washburn, of the Boston Globe:

(Warning: the tweet contains NSFW language.)

Say what you want about Irving and what he says, but you can not deny his ability on the ground. When he is at his best, the Celtics are part of the elite teams of the NBA.

Boston will complete its journey on Monday night against the Los Angeles Clippers.
