Before the Mets and Yankees are on the field Tuesday for their respective teams' games against the Miami Marlins and the Tampa Bay Rays, Marcus Stroman took to Twitter and seemed to throw a punch at Brian Cashman.
After a broad profile on Monday by Wallace Matthews of Yahoo! Sports recounting Cashman's work from 1998 to the franchise's 2019 season were resumed on Tuesday, Stroman seems to have heard about the Yankees' general manager's comments on the RHP Mets.
Cashman told Wallace that the Yankees "were interested in Stroman" because they considered their options to start before July 31, but they did not finally trade for him because they did not "think that he would make the difference. "
Later in the afternoon Tuesday, Stroman went on Twitter and probably fought back when he posted a tweet of him in a graph showing his figures for the year – comparing Yankees starter statistics – with the caption "a cash cash buddy".
With the Mets, Stroman started 10 games and recorded 53.2 innings, averaging 3.86 points, 52 assists and 22 walks, while posting a 3-2 record.
The nausea and vertigo shortened Stroman's last start, midway through Sunday's 6-3 win over the Cincinnati Reds, giving up two runs on three hits, while eliminating two and walking three. the Toronto Blue Jays.

In the Mets' 6-1 win over the Colorado Rockies last Tuesday, Stroman recorded 7 undefeated innings with 7 strikeouts for one goal, spreading four shots on 96 shots.
On the season, including 21 starts in the first half with the Blue Jays, Stroman (9-13, 3.23) was relatively strong, with 151 outs and 57 tournaments on 178.1.
The Yankees, meanwhile, rallied behind the resurgence of the LHP James Paxton (15-6, 3.73 ERA), who has won 10 consecutive starts since August 2 and the return of the RHP Luis Severino (1-0, 0.00 ERA), who has 13 outs on tarps with two goals since last Tuesday.
