Mario Kart Tower is now available for download on your Android or iOS smartphone – though, good luck, to be able to play the thing at the time of writing – and that details are starting to appear regarding the payment structures of the game.
As you probably know, the basic game is a free experience, but Nintendo offers what it calls a "Gold Pass" to enthusiastic players. The Gold Pass is essentially a subscription service that allows players to get more rewards in-game.
As you can see in the pictures below, the bonuses for those who get a Gold Pass include gifts, badges and a 200cc mode.
If you choose to subscribe, the Gold Pass will cost you £ 4.99 per month (Nintendo notes that this price is subject to change), although a free two week trial is available for new subscribers. You can find everything you need to subscribe to the Gold Pass in the application itself.
Are you likely to subscribe to this service or do you think 5 £ per month is a bit high? Share your thoughts with us in the comments.
