The dream events are back Mario & Sonic at the Tokyo 2020 Olympic Gamesand Sega has introduced three brand new activities that you can enjoy when the full game comes out.

You can get a quick overview in the trailer above, but we also have a practical description below:

Dream shot: Aim and shoot a series of targets placed all around a traditional Japanese mansion in this competitive event based on the scores! At different intervals of the match, flying kites will appear, which players will be able to target for bonus points.

Dream karate: Fight to illuminate the whitest spaces on the ground to expand your territory, combining the ultra-fast action of karate with free gameplay! Every space where an enemy falls by your hand will light up. The player or team that illuminates the greatest number of spaces at the end of the round is the winner. It's chaos, a fun chaos!

Dream Races: Climb aboard a hoverboard and browse a downhill track packed with question-and-answer packaging and challenging obstacles, and make easy tricks to gain speed and head. The first one down wins!

These events will be playable alongside standard 3D events, retro-themed 2D events, mini-games and more in-game content. Mario & Sonic at the Tokyo 2020 Olympic Games will be launched on November 5th in America and on the 8th November in Europe.
