And Marion Cotillard showed off her effortlessly chic style when she arrived on Saturday for the Bigger Than Us film screening at the San Sebastian Film Festival.

The actress, 45, walked the red carpet for the film’s launch after giving her support to the #MeToo movement during his speech at the Donostia awards ceremony.

Marion looked stunning as she donned a cropped jacket and high waisted pants for the screening of Bigger Than Us, a climate change documentary she co-produced.

The actress-turned-producer styled her brunette locks in soft curls for the first time, while she modeled subtle but pretty makeup.

The multitalented woman wore her accessories in a red quilted handbag, not forgetting to wear her face mask.

The actress used her platform at the awards ceremony to talk about the “revolution” carried by women to dismantle patriarchy since the start of the #MeToo movement.

She declared during her speech, which she delivered in her mother tongue, French: “For several years, the subordination of women has become more and more unacceptable in the eyes of the public; It has always been that way but we talk about it a lot more today, obviously, since #MeToo.

“It allowed women to express themselves freely, it’s a real revolution, an intense revolution and I’m very happy to live it.

“Today, as women, we know that we can be supported by a community of women and men and that is an important thing.

“The result is that there are indeed more women, more roles for women, and the more we talk about them, the more it changes our outlook on them.

She continued, “There are things that are no longer tolerated today. We did not accept before, but they were tolerated by a large part of the population.

“Today there is a great discussion and reassessment of the patriarchal system in which we live and where women have a relative place.”

The actress wiped away her tears of joy on Friday as fellow actress Penélope Cruz presented her with the award – which celebrates outstanding contributions to the film industry.

Appearing on stage in a black midi dress, the star became emotional when she received the award – exclaiming, “I wasn’t expecting it at all, I love this woman so much!”

The Pirates of the Caribbean star presented the award by whispering “my love” (my love) to Marion, before giving an awards speech in Spanish to the audience at the awards show.

The winner appeared humiliated and even shocked by the awards ceremony, stopping to put her hand on her heart before giving a speech in French.
