Greene, who represents Georgia’s 14th Congressional District, has frequently posted on his page far-right and debunked conspiracy theories, including the baseless QAnon conspiracy that throws former President Donald Trump into an imaginary battle against a sinister cabal of Democrats and celebrities who abuse children.
In an article, from January 2019, Greene liked a comment that “a bullet in the head would be faster” to impeach House Speaker Nancy Pelosi. In other articles, Greene liked comments about the execution of FBI agents who he saw as part of the “deep state” working against Trump.
In an April 2018 Facebook post, Greene conspiratorially wrote about the deal with Iran, one of former President Barack Obama’s major foreign policy achievements. A commentator asked Greene, “Now can we hang them ?? which means H&O ??”, referring to Obama and Hillary Clinton.
Greene replied: “The stadium is being set up. The players are being set up. We have to be patient. It has to be done perfectly or liberal judges would let them go.”
After CNN contacted Greene, his personal Twitter account
issued a statement in which she did not deny liking the posts and responding to comments, but claimed that many people have managed her Facebook page.
“Over the years, teams of people have managed my pages. Many posts have been liked. Many posts have been shared. Some did not represent my views. Especially the ones CNN is about to broadcast on the internet,” she wrote.
Greene did not clarify whether she or a member of her team was behind the posts reviewed by CNN’s KFile.
CNN has contacted Pelosi’s office for comment several times, but has not received a response.
Although his tenure in Congress only lasted a few weeks, Greene is already facing calls to leave the House for his role in attacking the Capitol uprising flames earlier this month after turning himself opposed the electoral certification process and falsely insisted that Trump would remain President.
After Democratic Representative Jimmy Gomez called on Greene to be kicked out of the House for his role in the insurgency, Greene condemned the violence on Capitol Hill and falsely accused “Antifa / BLM terrorism” and Democratic politicians of stoking the insurrection.
“I fully condemn ALL violence. Antifa / BLM terrorism funded on ActBlue relies on Democratic accomplices like @CoriBush @Ilhan @KamalaHarris @AOC @timkaine and many others … Those who stoke the insurgency and spread plots have blood on their hands. They must be expelled, ”
she tweeted.
Last week, Greene faced calls to resign from survivors of Parkland shooting survivors after Media Matters reported that she agreed with comments calling the 2018 shooting an operation. of “false flag,” which refers to acts designed by perpetrators to look like were carried out by other individuals or groups.
CNN’s KFile found additional comments from Greene where she called David Hogg, a survivor and activist, “#littleHitler” and spread a conspiracy that he was a “bought and paid little pawn” and an actor.
Prior to running for Congress in 2020, Greene created a petition to the White House in January 2019 to impeach the Speaker of the House for “crimes of treason,” citing Pelosi’s support for so-called sanctuary policies that “serve the illegal and not US citizens “and because Pelosi did not support Trump’s border wall.
In a speech promoting the petition, Greene suggested that Pelosi could be executed for treason.
“She’s a traitor to our country, she’s guilty of treason,” Greene said in the video she posted to Facebook at the time. “She is sworn to protect American citizens and uphold our laws. And she brings aid and comfort to our enemies who are illegally invading our country. That is what treason is. And through our laws, officials and Senators can be kicked out and no longer serve our government. And that’s, uh, that’s a crime punishable by death, that’s what treason is. Nancy Pelosi is guilty of treason. “
In another Facebook Live broadcast from inside Pelosi’s office on February 22, 2019, Greene suggested that the Speaker of the House “would suffer death or be in jail” for her “betrayal.” Notably, Greene never mentions a trial. On another show that aired later that day, she suggested California Rep. Maxine Waters was “just as guilty of treason as Nancy Pelosi.”
In comments to her Facebook posts, often promoting the petition, Greene liked a comment that said “by dismissal or death, whatever, as long as she leaves,” referring to Pelosi, and another who encouraged Greene to “beat Pelosi’s ass.”
The petition for the impeachment and impeachment of Pelosi for treason garnered more than 420,000 signatures in January 2021.
On social media, Greene presents herself as an opponent of political violence and presents Democrats as the real instigators of political violence, real or imagined, who come away with threatening calls for violence.

While Greene notes in Facebook posts that she disavows and denounces the violence, in the comment sections of Greene’s Facebook page, commentators frequently encourage politicians to be executed by hanging or firing squad.
Elsewhere on her Facebook page, Greene liked comments that called for “stopping” Obama and former Secretary of State John Kerry and a comment that said “HANG that bitch,” referring to Obama or Kerry or maybe -be both. She also liked a comment calling for the start of “Civil War 2.0”.
Greene, who adopted and propagated the baseless conspiracy theory of a “deep state” working to usurp Trump’s agenda, suggested in Facebook posts that FBI agents disloyal to Trump were traitors.
She liked a comment that said, “Trump once said there are some really good ones working with the FBI, but some have fallen and frankly need to be hanged for TREASON!” Another she loved said: “These traitors must be put to death as an example of what will no longer be tolerated in our country !!!”
