Packers CEO Mark Murphy has made some interesting comments about Aaron Rodgers this offseason, saying issues of will or will over Rodgers have “divided our fan base” and that Rodgers is a “complicated guy” . But more recently, Murphy has been silent on Rodgers.
This included Friday’s Zoom session in which Murphy reviewed the Packers’ financial situation from the 2020 season onwards. Murphy was asked about Rodgers, but he didn’t have much to say.
“I appreciate the question,” Murphy said via SI.com. “It’s really limited to questions about the financial statements. I would just say that there is nothing new to update on the issue you raised.
Rodgers is by all accounts unhappy with the Packers, but he hasn’t said much publicly, and at this point it seems likely he’ll show up at training camp.
