Marshall extends its portable Bluetooth range with two new speakers

[ad_1]

Marshall is updating its range of portable Bluetooth speakers today with the announcement of the smaller Stockwell II (an updated version of the original Stockwell) and the larger Tufton model. These two speakers join last year's Kilburn II model, which will remain the medium-sized Goldilocks option.

The goal here is to offer a wider variety of products depending on the size of speaker you need, a strategy that has worked well for the company's line of wired home speakers. Some may prefer the $ 249 Stockwell II, which offers IPX4 water resistance and a Power Bank feature designed to be thrown in a backpack.

Others might turn to the $ 399 Tufton, which, according to Marshall, is one of the largest portable Bluetooth speakers on the market, with an equivalent sound (and volume).

There are some common aspects in the range, despite differences in size. The two new speakers offer Bluetooth 5.0, promise at least 20 hours of battery life and allow fast charging. (Twenty minutes of charging can save you hours of battery life.) The aesthetics of Marshall design is also on display here: each speaker comes with physical controls designed on the model of the brand's amps – as always, these speakers are not manufactured by the same company but rather the licensed trade of Zound Industries, as well as a guitar-style carrying strap.

The Stockwell II and Tufton are available from today.
