The latest Marvel Ultimate Alliance game seems to be heavily inspired by the successes of recent Marvel movies. While veterans of the franchise, such as Spider-Man, Wolverine and Iron Man, are back, they are joined by heroes never seen in the series, such as Falcon, Captain Marvel, Miles Morales and Gwen Stacey. The main villains of Marvel Ultimate Alliance 3 are also Thanos and his Dark Order – both of whom have played a major role in Avengers: Infinity War, and the first of which is the big villain of the upcoming Avengers: Endgame.
Marvel Ultimate Alliance is a series of role playing games that explore stories featuring dozens of heroes and villains from Marvel comics. In the first game, Nick Fury uses Captain America, Spider-Man, Thor and Wolverine to respond to an attack by Dr. Doom and the Masters of Evil, a battle that ends with four heroes calling on all their known allies to gather in one working group to find the naughty organization. Marvel Ultimate Alliance 2 sees this team divided over a story that borrows elements from the comics of Marvel's Secret War and Civil War. It has not been revealed if Marvel Ultimate Alliance 3 is a direct continuation of the overall story of the series.
You know what has also been about 10 years in the making? Avengers Endgame, who celebrated its imminent release with a brand new trailer showing the greatest moments of the MCU, from Iron Man from 2008 to Captain Marvel in 2019. If you're as excited about Endgame as we are, be warned: cancellations for the film sank. Stay alert.
