Always an exclusive Switch: crazy, no?
You will be able to relive your X-Men Legends and Ultimate alliance years of glory very soon, as Marvel Ultimate Alliance 3: The Black Order launches in July exclusively on the switch. Nintendo has revealed the new release date on Twitter in addition to a look at the official mailbox, which reminds many Marvel vs. Capcom (tag to pay tribute) in the best possible way.
The cover gives us a glimpse of obviously confirmed MCU characters like Spider-Man, Black Panther and Iron Man, alongside X-Men like Storm and Wolverine. Sony even has a little love with Spider-Gwen and Miles Morales, and FOX (now Disney, haha) has a representation with Deadpool. Video games do what Hollywood can not.
In this tweet, Nintendo reminds us that the plot of the game deals with Infinity Stones, three months after the resolution of the Infinity saga with Avengers: End of the game in theaters later this month. This could very well be one of the greatest years that Marvel has ever known.
Marvel: Ultimate Alliance 3 is curiously handled by Team Ninja, who worked with Nintendo on Hyrule Warriors and Warriors of the fire emblem. Previously, the series was driven by Raven Software and Vicarious Visions, both still technically alive at Activision.
