Marwan Kenzari of Aladdin joins the adaptation to the cartoon of Netflix The Old Guard

according to The Hollywood Reporter, Aladdin villain Marwan Kenzari joined the cast of The old guard, The adaptation by Netflix of the cartoon of the same name of Greg Rucka and Leandro Fernandez. The story tells of a group of soldiers who are "inexplicably immortal", allowing them to fight as mercenaries in wars through history. However, although tired of being immortal warriors, the group "gets hurt" when they meet a new woman who fights in the Marines and who is also immortal. Kenzari will play one of the immortals, as opposed to a stupid mortal who will die or whatever.

Kiki Layne will also appear in the adaptation (THR do not say, but it sounds more like a movie than a TV show), Charlize Theron playing the role of the leader of the immortal soldiers.
