The French banker, 51, – the half-brother of Nicolas Sarkozy, the former president of France – agreed to a divorce settlement in a virtual hearing on January 13.

Michael Mosberg, lawyer for the father of two Sarkozy, told the New York Supreme Court at that previous hearing that “ the deal is now done. ”

Nancy Chemtob, who represents Olsen, said ‘all issues are resolved’ but no details were given to the court.

Olsen, who runs his fashion line The Row, is said to have a “ rock-solid contract, ” meaning his estimated fortune of around $ 250 million is safe no matter what during Sarkozy’s split.

During the hearing earlier this month, Mosberg told the judge: ‘Since this morning we have come to a final agreement. We just need to revise this agreement and get it to you ”.

Judge Sattler asked Chemtob if this was correct and she said: ‘We have worked really hard and we have a settlement and we can get it signed … all issues are resolved. ”

The judge, who had given both sides numerous adjournments on the case, said: “I hope it does.”

But she added: ‘Until I see the proof, I’m going to hold my feet in the fire a bit. ”

She said: ‘I trust and believe this is happening, but I’m going to stay on top of the case to make sure it gets done and we divorce them. ”
