A man accused of shooting three people at a convenience store in Maryland, killing two of them, also shot his parents and burned down his apartment before killing himself.

Joshua Green, 27, was identified as the suspect in the fatal shooting at a Royal Farms store in Essex on Sunday evening, Baltimore County police said in a statement.

Police also believe Green shot and killed his parents who were found dead at their home in an unincorporated part of the county called Baldwin.

Detectives said Green left the convenience store and set his apartment on fire, the statement said. He was later found dead from what appeared to be a self-inflicted gunshot wound. It is not known when her parents died, but police said the two appeared to have been shot.

Daniel Brennaman, 73, a neighbor who lives two doors down from the house where the bodies were found, said he noticed a police car and saw a photographer outside the house while walking his dog on Sunday evening.

“A storm blew in here, and I thought it was a car crash around the corner,” he said. “I did not hear anything.”

Brennaman said he had exchanged greetings and discussions with the husband and wife who live in this Manor Road house but could not remember their names and did not know them personally.

“I wave to him from time to time. He still works in his yard, ”he said.

Online property records show that the house where police found the parents’ bodies is owned by Olivia D. Green and Douglas J. Green.

Royal Farms spokeswoman Breahna Brown said the company had no immediate comment on the shooting at its store.

The condition of the injured person at the convenience store was not disclosed. Police said the person was recovering at a local hospital.

Police said detectives believed the three shootings were related and were not looking for any additional suspects.

More information is expected to be released at a press conference on Monday morning.
