Middlesex District Attorney Marian Ryan and Suffolk District Attorney Rachael Rollins are among those scheduled to attend a press conference Monday to announce the trial.

A statement from the Middlesex District Attorney's Office states that "prosecutors are forced to drop the lawsuits because many victims and witnesses are deterred from appearing in court" because of the ICE policy .

Monday's announcement comes days after federal prosecutors indicted a judge and a former justice officer for obstructing justice for helping a man wanted by the federal immigration authorities to escape from a courthouse.
