A report revealed that a 14-year-old boy was killed by a pack of dogs at the home of a professional dog trainer in Massachusetts.
Ryan Hazel was attacked while he was keeping animals in Brighton, Massachusetts on Thursday night while their owner, Scott Dunmore, 49, was out of town, according to the WCBV.
The boy's grandmother drove him to the property to care for Dunmore's dogs, a chore he had performed in the past, according to Masslive.com.
After about an hour, Hazel's grandmother worries and calls the child's parents, who then call Dunmore's neighbor.
A neighbor has found Hazel, a victim of "traumatic injuries," according to Bristol County District Attorney Thomas Quinn.
Quinn told reporters that the foul play was not suspected. He also stated that Dunmore had returned home shortly after the incident and had been cooperative.
"It was clearly a terrible tragedy for the victim, his family, his friends and the city," Quinn said. "My heart goes to all."
Among the 11 dogs were Dutch shepherds and Belgian malinois, breeds often used as police dogs, according to Masslive.com.
Animal control monitors dogs, and one of them acted aggressively, they said. The four people believed to be involved in the attack are quarantined for 10 days.
Dunmore has trained dogs professionally for 15 years, according to his website.
