Tiger Woods hosted the Masters Champions Dinner for the fifth time in his career on Tuesday night at the Augusta National Golf Club. And while this year’s version is much different and more understated than all the others, the show (and menu) continued.
Woods said earlier today – as he has often said over the years – that one of his favorite Masters memories was in 1998 when he served a dinner of burgers, fries and shakes. to a 22 year old.
“Seeing Gene Sarazen and Sam Snead and drinking milkshakes, that was awesome,” said Woods. “Just to hear the stories of all the guys over the years. The things we say at dinner parties stay between us, and that’s the most awesome part about it is that we keep them at home and keep them. in the family. The stories will no doubt return on Tuesday, but apparently the milkshakes won’t. Woods served the Augusta Roll – a sushi roll with shrimp and tuna – as well as steak and chicken fajitas; a dessert trio of flan, churros and sopapillas; and two options for red wine.
Here are the four other meals Woods built in his career the year after winning the Masters. While it’s not the arctic char served by Mike Weir in 2004 or the South African barbecue that Charl Schwartzel had on the menu in 2012, I do appreciate the variety of menus throughout Woods’ career.

- 2006: Jalapeno and stuffed quesadilla starter, salad, chicken and steak fajitas, rice, apple pie, ice cream
