The way the Masters 2020 are organized in November will be a little different from the usual one. After all, we’re not playing in April, and 2020 itself has been more than a little mixed up.
Due to the fact that this event takes place in November and daylight will be limited late in the afternoon, Augusta National has scheduled groups to depart for both Departures # 1 and # 10 from 7 a.m. ET. The last group of the day will start just after noon.
Once again, the Masters have nailed this year’s groups and spread interest throughout the day Thursday for the first round and Friday for the second round. ) and create a balanced viewer experience.
Early Thursday most of the attention will be on either the group of Jon Rahm, Bryson DeChambeau and Louis Oosthuizen, or the trio Tiger Woods, Shane Lowry, Andy Ogletree. Woods, the reigning Masters champion, will play with the reigning Open champion (Lowry) and last year’s US winner (Ogletree). The afternoon is also hot with the hottest group being Dustin Johnson, Rory McIlroy and Patrick Cantlay. All are among the top 10 favorites to win this year. My favorite band, however, is probably Adam Scott, Collin Morikawa and Tyrrell Hatton. It will be an absolute ball hitting party, these three will put on a show with their iron game.
