Woods has been sensational throughout his career at Augusta National, winning five green jackets and registering a total of 14 top-10 Masters. However, he has been extremely inconsistent since capturing his 82nd career Zozo Championship victory last year, finishing six times outside the top 40 in his last seven starts on the PGA Tour.
Woods missed the cup at the US Open in September and followed it up with a T72 performance at the Zozo Championship in October. Woods has only appeared in two tournaments in the new PGA Tour season, and his inconsistent performance can be directly attributed to his inability to find greens in regulation.

Another surprise: Webb Simpson, a 33-1 long shot, had a good title race. He has a much better chance of winning it all than his odds imply, so he’s a target for anyone looking for a huge paycheck. He enters the Masters 2020 with 68.90% of the fairways off the tee, which ranks 19th on the PGA Tour. His ability to consistently find the fairway allows Simpson to be aggressive with his iron shots, which leads to easier bird putts.
Simpson has already racked up 54 birdies in 12 rounds this season, which works out to an average of 4.5 per round. He also ranks 10th on the PGA Tour on average (69,221). Plus, Simpson has proven he has what it takes to compete at Augusta National, shooting 11 under par at the Masters a year ago en route to fifth place. These impressive stats, along with his long odds, make him a solid player for your Masters 2020 betting, depending on the model.
