Huawei is expected to launch its Mate 30 series this fall. Rumor has it that the press conference could take place as early as 19 September. The phone will run on Android right out of the box. Yang hinted that a future flagship will run on Android, and that's probably the Mate 30 Pro, which should fall before the foldable Mate X. The executive said that if it was to switch to Harmony, Huawei would wait until the last minute to pull the trigger.
If this happens, it will only affect computer equipment that has not been marketed. Huawei recently explained that it will continue to update Android on any smartphone already available to consumers.
