Matt Groening's disenchantment is back on September 20th

Confession: we sometimes had trouble finding magic in Netflix's recent fantasy parody of Matt Groening Disenchantment, with a loud voice sometimes trying to raise too familiar content. Nevertheless, the first episode of the series ended on a powerful note, doubling its serialized elements while bringing jokes of excellent quality to the party. Now, Netflix has announced a premiere for the second part of the show, revealing the return of Bean and the company with … wait, that's a Game of thrones reference? Are you sure of that, of the team?

But if Groening urges to fall under the fire of one of those nasty petitions that we have recently heard about by aligning his series on the Iron Throne – not to mention the showcasing of the silver-haired princess of his series – we are always happy enough to see Disenchantment back on September 20th. If nothing else, the first representation of the series proved that it had potential; it will be interesting to see if this can be up to the challenge this second time.

And if not, well, there is always Change.org.
