The Dallas Mavericks have “quietly assessed” Kristaps Porzingis’ trading market, sources told Bleacher Report’s Jake Fischer.
Fischer added that the team is starting to reassess whether Porzingis can back Luka Doncic as a second option over a contender.
The Mavs are currently looking to add a center to complement Porzingis, with André Drummond mentioned as a candidate.
The team is also expected to make a “meaningful offer” to John Collins if he does so at a restricted free agency.
Porzingis missed the Mavs game on Monday night with back pain.
