Max Kepler called for Trevor Bauer's bluff

Max Kepler, the Twins player, was fantastic in the 5-4 win over Cleveland on Thursday, when he led 4-4 with three home runs and one stroll. There are two ways to look at this performance and they are not mutually exclusive. You could say that Kepler had a hellish night, and you can say that pitcher Trevor Bauer insisted on serving meatballs as he worked in a trattoria.

Twins striker Kepler scored two goals in the match after Bauer changed the score from 0 to 1. Well, it's a rewarding experience and the damage was only once . So what did Bauer do at the second meeting? He decided to launch a slider in much the same place. Once again, gone.

Kepler had a five-run walk to fifth, but he was back in seventh to get one more fight against the Indian starter. As uncomfortable as it may be, let's look at Trevor Bauer for a minute. He threw a change and slider into the area, and both ended up like shreds. And what would happen ifhe must have said to himself: I ignored the motive and I just threw a fastball at that place. Max Kepler surely can not hit a third circuit here – ah.
