“WAP” – the sexually explicit hit song by Cardi B and Megan Thee stallion – is a symbol of the care of women and their opinion … to Rep. Maxine Waters, Anyway.
The congresswoman and MTS recently went online, and Waters seemed to surprise the rapper when asked what music was cheering her on … and she brought up “WAP.”
After hilariously telling Meg not to worry, Rep. Waters on several occasions said that when she first heard the track she thought … “This is daring .
During the online discussion, for Harper’s Bazaar, Maxine also said that Cardi and Meg should be commended, not criticized, for leading a feminist movement in hip-hop.
After all, Waters says that’s what the men who were “in charge” in this kind of music – like Tupac and Dr. Dre – has been doing it for years, and she points out that she has always been a supporter of the First Amendment.

Now compare Waters’ point of view on “WAP” with that of the conservative host Ben shapiro … who notoriously criticized the vulgarity of the song’s lyrics upon its release and claimed it was an affront to feminism.
