MCC 2019: Miranda Lambert debuts on the red carpet with her husband Brendan McLoughlin

Miranda Lambert and her husband Brendan McLoughlin made their red carpet debut at the 2019 ACM Awards in Las Vegas on Sunday night, making their first official public appearance together since their secret wedding in January.

The singer "Gunpowder & Lead" looked great in a bright lime green halter dress, while McLoughlin was elegant in a classic tailor with hair on her back.

Also to ACM? Lambert's ex-husband, Blake Shelton, and his longtime girlfriend, Gwen Stefani. We do not know if the ex had crossed during the ceremony, but they certainly did not cross on the red carpet, because Shelton and Stefan chose to jump it.

The Lambert and McLoughlin exit comes nearly three months after knotting the knot outside Nashville, but less than two years after their relationship and marriage was revealed to the public. Lambert kept her nuptials with the NYPD officer for a month until she shared the news on Instagram on Saturday, Feb. 16, writing, "I met the love of my life. And we found ourselves stuck! My heart is full. Thanks Brendan McLoughlin for loving me for … me.

In the weeks following his big revelation, reports made it possible to understand how Lambert met McLoughlin for the first time and the virulent accusations about the officer's transgressions over the past year. McLoughlin reportedly met Lambert while he was on duty at Times Square. She was appearing for "Good Morning America" in early November, three days before welcoming her first child with the woman with whom he allegedly cheated on her ex-fiancée.

The mother of her alleged ex-fiancée has spoken repeatedly about McLoughlin, calling him a "liar, cheater, connoisseur, narcissist" and "not good waste".

Despite his controversial past, Lambert is already considering a future with the Staten Island native, insiders saying to ET that they plan to have children together.

"We have never seen her so happy and we think she has finally found one and only one," the source said. "Miranda and Brendan both want children. [She] She never felt ready to have children until she met Brendan and she is now excited to be a mother-in-law. She even says it's a good practice for when she has a baby. "

"Brendan makes Miranda feel grounded, centered and very safe, she's a policeman and everyone loves her a lot, she fell in love with a man in uniform," continued the source. "Miranda is relieved to have found someone who is not in the music industry … Brendan is perfect for her."
