PROVIDENCE, R.I (WPRI) – The McCormick & Schmick Seafood Restaurant located in downtown Providence has permanently closed.
A sign outside Dorrance Street indicates "visit our other sites at McCormickandSchmicks.com". There was no further explanation.
The restaurant is located in the Graduate Hotel, formerly the Biltmore. A Starbucks on the ground floor of the hotel also closed earlier this year.
We do not know how many jobs are affected.
Eyewitness News sent several requests to the restaurant chain and its parent company, but received no response.
