McDonald launched its first new type of restaurant since driving

As technology integrates more and more into our daily lives, businesses need to quickly adapt to consumers' fast and efficient consumer demand.

McDonald's is no exception.

The fast food chain would be opening up new restaurants in order to feed its customers faster by exclusively offering takeaway food.

The new fleet has been dubbed McDonald's first new restaurant format since the introduction of the driving service in the 1970s. Inside the restaurant, orders are placed on touch screens. There are no tables, chairs or decor. The menu is also reduced to the basic elements of the chain such as Big Macs, McNuggets and French fries.

I ventured into the first McDonald's of its kind, located on Fleet Street, in the heart of London, to see what it looked like.
