McDonald’s employee reveals “most complicated” order on chain’s menu: “Literally horrible to prepare”

McDonald’s McWrap Premium disappeared from the chain’s menu a few years ago – and some employees seem quite happy about it.

That’s because, according to a viral video, the menu item was the “most complicated” command for workers to complete.

The video is from user Stephen Patula (@patulafamilymcdonalds). Patula, who works for his family’s McDonald’s franchise, runs a popular TikTok page where he answers viewers’ burning questions about the fast food chain.

In one of her most recent music videos, Patula reveals the “most complicated” element for employees to prepare. He goes on to explain why the Premium McWrap was “literally horrible to make”.

As Patula says in her video, the Premium McWraps “tasted awesome” but took a long time to prepare. That said, packaging is no longer an issue for McDonald’s employees as the item was discontinued in 2019.

Additionally, Patula noted that the menu is now fairly straightforward in general. Like many fast food chains, McDonald’s has simplified its offerings during the pandemic, making it easier for employees to prepare and finish meals.

But the Premium McWrap clearly holds a special place in the hearts of many McDonald’s fans. Several TikTokers have asked when – or if – the article will return.

“Bring back the scarf!” One user wrote.

“I miss the wraps so much I’m going to cry,” added another.

“I am okay!” wrote another TikToker. “I hated making them but they were so good.”

Patula’s music video is just the latest McDonald’s “secret” to go viral on TikTok. Previously, users also discussed how to get “free refills” on fries and the surprising dessert that some places keep in their freezer. McDonald’s fans have also gone viral for sharing some of the chain’s most unique locations, including an abandoned drive-thru in Alaska and a franchise in Bali that serves shakes filled with matcha.
