In an effort to give American customers a taste of its regional specialties, McDonald's recently announced its intention to bring a series of international favorite dishes to the United States.
The upcoming launch, to take place next month, will build on the extensive global menu of unique offerings offered by fast solution providers. The international showcase is led by the tomato and mozzarella chicken sandwich sourced directly from Canada and the Grand McExtreme bacon burger from Spain. Those who already love McDonald's world-famous fries will have to try the cheese and bacon fries, which were extremely popular in Australia with chopped cheddar cheese sauce and chopped Applewood smoked bacon. Finally, the Stroopwafel McFlurry from the Netherlands brings a European touch to the hugely popular McFlurry, with authentic pieces of caramelized waffle biscuits cut from the Dutch, from Daelmans Stroopwafel.

Chicken Sandwich with Tomatoes and Mozzarella (Canada): Prepared with grilled or crispy white meat, juicy and tender chicken, the mozzarella and tomato chicken sandwich is garnished with tomato and herbs sauce, creamy mozzarella cheese, chopped onions, fresh lettuce and Slices of Roma tomatoes served on a freshly toasted craft roll.
Grand McExtreme Bacon Burger (Spain): A quarter of a pound of 100 per cent fresh beef topped with smoked bacon cut into pieces of apple tree, smoked McBacon sauce, real Gouda cheese and chopped onions served on a freshly toasted sesame seed bun.
Bacon and cheese fries (Australia): World-famous McDonald's fries topped with real cheddar cheese sauce and applewood smoked bacon.
Stroopwafel McFlurry (Netherlands): A vanilla creamy vanilla dessert, mixed with a rich swirl of caramel, including authentic pieces of Dutch caramelized waffle biscuits from Daelmans Stroopwafel.
