McDonald’s Pokémon Card Packs Sell Out

To celebrate the 25th anniversary of Pocket monsters, McDonald’s includes Pokémon card packs in Happy Meals. It seemed like a good idea! Others thought so too.

Included are four random cards on a set of 50 cards, Inven reports. The rarest or most valuable cards are, as always, the shiny versions.

Some collectors and YouTubers inevitably pick up the cards in droves. The scalpers, unsurprisingly, appear just behind.

On the first day the cards were released, the rapids were the food chain seemed to let it go about the launch. Some McDonald’s apparently offering the packs separately, while other places include them with the Happy Meal. Depending on the specific McDonald’s, there may be different rules on how many to buy.

For example, like YouTuber Pokémon Blazendary pointed out, the location might have limited stock, so he bought 20 Happy Meals. In contrast, YouTuber A conduct didn’t want food, and only asked for boxes and packs of cards. He was limited to ordering 20 from one location, but could order 80 from another.

Vannie Eats ordered six Happy Meals with the cards, then filmed a mukbang as she devoured the food.

Good do not let the food go to waste. Some, like those mentioned above Pokémon Blazendary or Twitter JT Valor, who buy in bulk, say they give food to those who need it. Hope others who buy a lot of Happy Meals will do the same.

Not everyone buying wholesale is necessarily looking to return these cards, but cards end up on eBay. The packs seem to cost around $ 5 to $ 10 per pop in the resale market with the more desirable cards, such as the Shiny Pikachu, going all the way up to $ 60.

Ordinary people who hope to get a Happy Meal Pokémon from the commemorative cards find they are already sold out. Sucks, of course, but unless there is stricter rules for people who buy a lot of Happy Meals, it had to happen.
