ORLANDO, Fla. >> UCF HQ, McKenzie Milton, injured, helps the Knights prepare for the US Track and Field Championship game against Memphis.
Milton suffered a serious leg injury during the first half of UCF's victory over the USF on Friday and was treated for nerve damage and a dislocated knee at the General Hospital from Tampa.
The hospital stay and the strenuous recovery process have not prevented Milton from staying in close contact with his teammates, whom he calls his brothers.
"I have not experienced anything like this," said UCF Quartermaster Jeff Lebby today about Milton 's commitment to the sport. help the team prepare to beat Memphis.
