– The McRib’s annual return to McDonald’s stores is always a sensation, but the company is throwing a giveaway this year to help create anticipation. Shave 4 McRib contest will award 10,000 free sandwiches, USA today reports, before the sandwich reappeared on the menu board Wednesday. You don’t have to be a razor to qualify. “Post a photo of your perfectly shaved or smooth baby-like face to your public Twitter or public Instagram profile by using # Shave4McRibSweepstakes and tagging @mcdonalds,” the company said in a statement. A code for the free boneless pork sandwich with barbecue sauce will be sent to the first 10,000 participants, via McDelivery with Uber Eats.

The McRib has been brought back every year since 1982, by CNBC, to increase customer traffic during the holiday shopping season. This time around, the fast food chain is teaming up in the promotion with a nonprofit that raises money for cancer research and prevention. No-Shave November is asking “attendees to put down their razors and ‘brush their hair’ in the name of cancer awareness,” said one leader. McRib’s purchases made Wednesday “will help support our donation to the charity’s cancer-fighting initiatives,” McDonald’s said. (Read more McRib stories.)
