America Mafalda Thayer died from beheading, according to the Hennepin County medical examiner.
Thayer, 55, suffered multiple sharp and blunt injuries and was beheaded at 2:31 p.m. on Wednesday, according to a press release from the medical examiner on Sunday. The medical examiner officially called his death a homicide. Alexis Saborit, of Shakopee, was charged with second degree murder with intent but without premeditation on Friday.
