Fans are incredibly excited at the prospect of Mechagodzilla’s appearance in Godzilla vs Kong and now we have our mind-blowing first look at him.
Godzilla vs. Kong is without a doubt one of the most anticipated films of this year. The next film will see the two most famous monsters in the film industry collide for the second time on the big screen.
While much of the movie’s plot has been kept under wraps, trailers have shown Godzilla to act out of character instead, seemingly causing intentional damage and hurting people. This seems to result in humans relying on Kong for help. However, fans have speculated that there is a wild card in play: Mechagodzilla.
While it has yet to be officially confirmed whether or not the legendary villain is in the movie, the latest Godzilla vs. Kong The trailer may have given fans their first look.
Is Mechagodzilla in the Godzilla vs Kong trailer?
Like the previous trailers, this teaser reveals epic new shots of Kong and Godzilla fighting each other. However, in the closing sequence, both creatures’ attention turns to something else out of sight. In Godzilla’s tired eyes, however, there is the reflection of a terrifying metallic creature looming above him, with what appear to be his large metallic claws also exposed.
The classic Godzilla villain was teased in multiple shots in the original trailer before the merchandise gave fans their first look at the creature’s design. This trailer, however, is our first real kaiju movement that can be at least partially deciphered. And, if anything, it confirms that he will be involved in the movie.
A sequel to the 2014s Godzilla, 2017’s Kong: Skull Island and 2019 Godzilla: King of the Monsters, garganutan’s film was originally slated to hit theaters last year. However, a number of delays – and a change that actually brought the release date forward – ultimately took it to March 2021. Part of Warner Bros. revolutionary new approach to film releases in 2021, Godzilla vs. Kong hits theaters and on HBO Max in the US on March 31.
