Meet Taylor Sheridan’s McLusky Family In Paramount Plus First Trailer

Waiting for more episodes of Taylor Sheridan’s hit western series Yellowstone, the creator of television has another series in store for all Paramount + subscribers. At the streamer’s TCA panel today, the first trailer for Mayor of Kingstown debuted, introducing us to the McLusky family of Kingstown, Michigan. Get ready for 10 new episodes of the drama coming in November exclusively on Paramount +.

Mayor of Kingstown documents the high-stakes lives of the McLusky family, who are power brokers in the Kingstown area. The only industry that thrives is incarceration, so they must do what they can to stay afloat, alert, and alive. “Addressing themes of systemic racism, corruption and inequality,” according to the Paramount + connecting line, “the series takes a critical look at their attempt to restore order and justice to a city that has none. Neither.

Jeremy Renner is directing the series alongside Dianne Wiest, Kyle Chandler, Hugh Dillon, Taylor Handley, Emma Laird and Tobi Bamtefa.

The series is slated to be produced by Sheridan, as well as co-creator Hugh Dillon, Renner, Antoine Fuqua, David C. Glasser, Ron Burkle, Bob Yari and Michael Friedman.

The new saga is part of Sheridan’s deal with MTV Entertainment and ViacomCBS. In the same way Mayor of Kingstown, Sheridan is also set to debut 1883 (the Yellowstone origin story) on Paramount + from December 19. This is the first of his exclusive multi-year deal with the streamer, which includes scripted and procedural series for Paramount’s streaming and linear platforms.

Yellowstone is currently set to return for Season 4 on the Paramount Network on November 7. Mayor of Kingstown will debut just a week later, debuting new episodes after Yellowstone Is.

Paramount Network will broadcast a special simulcast premiere event for Mayor of Kingstown, which should follow a new episode of Yellowstone. The series will begin on Sunday, November 14.
