Economy transportation company Megabus said on Friday it had suspended all travel to and from Washington, DC, until after opening day.

Travel to the nation’s capital will be suspended from 11:59 p.m. Friday to 11:59 p.m. on January 21. the bus company said on Twitter.

“These cancellations are due to restrictions in the Washington, DC area over the coming week,” the company said.

Megabus said passengers received refund instructions or reschedule their trip.

On Thursday, the House Oversight Committee sent letters to 27 private travel agencies, including Megabus, urging them to set strict rules “to ensure that your services are not used to facilitate domestic violence or terrorism.”

The committee’s request comes after Airbnb said on Wednesday it would cancel all reservations in Washington, DC, during groundbreaking week.
