Dave Mustaine was diagnosed with throat cancer.

Mustaine was a member of METALLICA less than two years, from 1981 to 1983, before being dismissed and replaced by Kirk Hammett. He then trained MEGADETH and achieve its own global success.

In the last three decades, Mustaine has acquired a loyal clientele. The native of Southern California can be considered an architect of the speed metal movement, which is one of many branches of the genealogical tree of heavy guitar-based music.
