In a classic example of paperwork under the wire the night before the holidays, Megan Fox filed for divorce from Brian Austin Green.

Fox filed papers in Los Angeles on Wednesday, TMZ reports. The actress, 34, seeks joint legal and physical custody of the couple’s three children – Noah Shannon, 8, Bodhi Ransom, 6, and Journey River, 4 – and wants the ability to prevent spousal support . for both halves of the couple.

TMZ also has the answer from Green, 47, who accepts most of his requests, although he apparently wants spousal support to remain on the table. The couple’s statements also differ on the date of their separation: Green puts it on March 5, 2020, while Megan says they separated in November 2019.

The pair’s extended separation has become increasingly controversial in recent times. Fox came after Green on Instagram over Halloween weekend, instructing him to “feed the ubiquitous tale that I’m an absent mother and you are the Eternal, Eternally devoted Father of the Year.”

“You have them half the time,” she added. “Congratulations, you are truly a remarkable human!”

Meanwhile, Fox made his red carpet debut with his new boyfriend, rapper Machine Gun Kelly, 30, at the American Music Awards this week. The couple have been dating for nearly six months after meeting on the set of Randall Emmett’s “Midnight in the Switchgrass”. Also debuted, a new tattoo on Fox reading “el pistolero”, which some fans have taken as a reference to MGK.

Fox appeared in Kelly’s music video for “Bloody Valentine” in May, the same month her separation from husband Green was confirmed. Since then, she and self-proclaimed “twin flames” Kelly have become known for their public declarations of love, most notably when Fox called MGK a “painfully beautiful boy” in a scorching Instagram post.

In September, Kelly proclaimed he had fallen in love with Fox for “the first time”.

“I didn’t know what [love] until me and she made eye contact, ”Kelly said on the“ Howard Stern Show ”. “That’s when I was like ‘Whoa.’ “
