Meghan Markle and Prince Harry are both reportedly planning to take time off and have a ‘good time together’ after the birth of their second child.
The baby, who will become the little sister of the couple’s first child, Archie, is due this summer.
Page Six previously reported that the Duke and Duchess of Sussex were preparing for the child to arrive at their plush house in Montecito, California.
Sources have now told Vanity Fair that after the birth of their second child, they want to ‘take time off’ and have ‘a good time together as a family’.
The publication reports that sources close to the couple have claimed they plan to take both paternity and maternity leave when their baby girl arrives.
A friend said: “They will both take a decent time off.
“It will be summer and they want to make sure they both take time off so they have a good time together once the baby arrives.”
The news came after the former actress previously revealed that she miscarried a child.
Harry, 36, and Meghan, 39, announced they have a daughter in their bombshell interview with Oprah Winfrey, 67.
Harry had suggested that their daughter would be their last child in meeting the American television legend.
He said to Oprah, “Girl, you know, what more could you ask for? But now, you know, now we have our family.”
The Duke and Duchess now live in a $ 14.5million (£ 10.6million) mansion, where they have a number of celebrities as neighbors.

Meghan is believed to prefer a home birth, but if she has to go to the hospital, the Cottage Hospital in Santa Barbara would be the most likely destination.
