Meanwhile in London, members of the royal family attended a service at the cenotaph.
Prince William was among those who stepped forward to lay a wreath in honor of fallen soldiers.
However, Prince Harry’s participation sparked backlash from some observers who claimed it looked like a publicity stunt.
Good Morning Britain host Piers Morgan was among them, who took to Twitter to accuse Harry and Meghan of trying to get ‘media attention’.
A source close to Prince Harry replied to the criticism and denied that the Duke’s personal service was linked to the publicity.

The Duke is also the founder of the Invictus Games – a sports competition especially for wounded servicemen.
The Duke’s supporters have also taken to social media to defend personal service in Los Angeles.
One of them wrote: “If they hadn’t done something, they would be damned, and when they do, they are damned.
“The guy served two terms in Afghanistan and hosted the Invictus Games.”
Speaking recently on a Declassified military podcast, Prince Harry gave an overview of his military background.
He said, “Remembrance Day is a time of respect and hope for me. Respect for those who came before us and hope for a more secure world. Even when we can’t all be together, we still remember together.
According to the Times, the Duke had asked the royal family to lay a wreath at the cenotaph in his name during Sunday’s service in the UK.
However, this request was reportedly refused due to the fact that he no longer represents the monarchy.
He and Meghan stepped down from their senior royal roles in March of this year amid their move to the United States.
As a result, Prince Harry was forced to relinquish his honorary military titles.
