Meghan, 39, and Harry, 36, who are starting a new life in America after stepping down from royal duties earlier this year, privately visited Los Angeles National Cemetery on Sunday. But the Good Morning Britain presenter hit the Sussexes after photos were posted.
Morgan tweeted, “My god, they even turned Remembrance Sunday into another publicity stunt. Are they not ashamed?
In a second tweet, he added: “Just outrageous – treating Remembrance Sunday as a public relations opportunity and trying to steal the headlines from real royals doing their homework.”
Royal commentator Dan Wootton also took a look at the Queen’s grandson and former actress during snaps from the visit.
He said in a message on Twitter: “How lucky a photographer has come to capture this deeply personal moment.”

Meghan and Harry laid flowers from the garden of their California mansion at the graves of two Commonwealth soldiers, one who had served in the Royal Australian Air Force and the other in the Royal Canadian Artillery.
They also placed a wreath at an obelisk in the cemetery which features a plaque inscribed “in memory of the men who gave their lives in defense of their country”.
Harry signed a message with the crown that read, “To all who have served and serve. Thank you.”
A spokesperson for the Sussexes said: “It was important for the Duke and Duchess to be able to personally recognize the Remembrance in their own way, to pay tribute to those who served and to those who gave their lives.”

Former Suits star Meghan looked stylish in a black belted coat, while Harry looked smart in a blue suit with his service medals on. They were both wearing poppies.
The Sussexes’ visit comes as members of the Royal Family, including the Queen, Prince Charles, Camilla, Prince William and Kate, attended a ceremony at the London Cenotaph.
Courtiers have refused Harry’s request at Buckingham Palace for a wreath to be laid in his name during the service as he is no longer a working royal, the Sunday Times reported.
Harry, who spent 10 years in the military, described Remembrance Sunday as “a time of respect and hope” in an interview with the Declassified podcast.

He said, “The act of remembering, of remembering, is a profound act of honor.
“This is how we preserve the legacy of entire generations and show our gratitude for the sacrifices they made so that we can live the lives we live today.”
Harry opened up about his relationship with the veterans, describing reuniting as “like meeting an old mate”.
He said, “I wear the poppy to recognize all who served, the soldiers I knew, as well as those I didn’t know.

“I wear it to celebrate the courage and determination of all of our Veterans and their loved ones, especially those of our Invictus family.
“These are the people and the times I remember when I greet, when I stand at attention, and when I lay a wreath at the cenotaph.
Harry also spoke of his own service, which included two tours of Afghanistan.

He said, “When I am asked about this period in my life, I tap into my memories, I tap into what I remember and who I remember.
“Like the first time we were shot and who I was with, the wounded we saw and those we rescued. And the first medivac we escorted out of contact in a race against time.
“Once served, always at the service, no matter what.
“Being able to wear my uniform, being able to stand up in the service of one’s country, these are among the greatest honors in life.
“For me, the uniform is a symbol of something much bigger, it symbolizes our commitment to protect our country and to protect our values.
“These values are put into action by service, and service is what happens in calm and chaos.”
