Prince Harry and Meghan Markle described Winsdor as a "special place" when it was announced at the end of last year that they would be moving to Frogmore Cottage.
But it was suggested that they initially had a larger home in mind when they decided to move to the area and were larger than their Kensington Palace apartment in time for the arrival of the baby. Archie in May.

"There are empty rooms and suites in the private apartments that the Sussex may have overseen, or maybe some old housing built in the castle compound, which have been transformed into other objects, "explains the royal author Hugo Vickers.
"But I can see how it would not be entirely appropriate to have a young family living there."
It is thought that Harry, 34, and Meghan, 38, have felt an affinity with Windsor Castle, since it is there that they chose to get married and that their son has since been baptized.
The Royal Berkshire Fortress, which dates back to the 11th century, is the place where the queen spends most of her weekends. It's his official residence at Easter and in June.

It is thought that there are more than 1,000 rooms, making it the largest inhabited palace in the world.
However, the queen gave Frogmore Cottage to the couple instead.

Last month, it was reported that they could be made to "rip" part of their home after changing their minds.
According to the Sun, their new vision would now include a tennis or badminton court.
