Prince Harry and Meghan Markle have had a 2020 whirlwind, but the two are looking to end the year on a happy note.
The Duke and Duchess of Sussex are reported to be preparing to celebrate Christmas for the first time away from the British Royal Family, in their lavish new home.
A source spoke with People about their Christmas plans and it looks like the couple will be staying at their Montecito home and “happy to decorate for Christmas”.
This comes after previous reports of The mirror had claimed that the couple would celebrate by hosting the dinner at their home by inviting producer David Foster and his wife, singer Katherine McPhee.
“Meghan really wants to welcome the first Christmas to their new home with her mom. She is really excited and plans to practice all of the traditions she grew up with as a child, including cooking, ”a source told Mirror.
“They also invited David and Katharine to spend it with them. David had mentioned that Harry and Meghan were going to their house but Meghan wanted him at home. They want to live their new life. Christmas with Harry’s family is not in the plan, ”they added.
