Although they are no longer the center of royal life, Meghan, the Duchess of Sussex and Prince Harry have taken some important steps. The couple moved to Meghan’s home state of California, where they just bought their first home together as a couple in Santa Barbara.

In the early days, early in the quarantine, reports revealed the Sussexes were looking to start their new business Archewell Foundation. However, the coronavirus pandemic (COVID-19), Black Lives Matter and the November 2020 election have taken precedence over Archewell.

While the foundation has been put on ice for now, the Sussexes are moving forward with other plans and ideas. In fact, the royal couple are reported to be buying a top-secret project from the networks.

Meghan Markle and Prince Harry are working nonstop from Megxit

After announcing their departure from the British Royal Family, the Sussexes left the UK for Canada, where they took the necessary time away from the spotlight to begin determining their next moves. In March 2020, they returned to the UK for their final royal engagements before eventually moving to Los Angeles.

For the next few months, the couple remained in quarantine at Tyler Perry’s Beverly Hills home with their one-year-old son Archie and Meghan’s mother Doria Ragland. However, although they could not be on the move, the Sussexes volunteered and laid the groundwork for their future efforts. Now that they are settled in their new home in Santa Barbara, things have increased tenfold. An insider explained to Hollywood Life,

Harry and Meghan work on so many different initiatives and so many charities. They have a great team working with them, but the workload is always intense and that doesn’t leave much time for this book to worry about. They are focused on the future and what they can do to help during this pivotal time in history.

Prince Harry and Meghan Markle have yet to make any money

Despite their goodwill and intentions to create a life independent of the royal family, the Sussexes have yet to make any money. With a large mortgage on their new home and the rent and payments he sends to the UK for Frogmore Cottage, this could be quite a problem.

“They need to make money,” royal expert Katie Nicholl told Entertainment Tonight. “They’ve been in Los Angeles since March, they left the royal family at the end of March, and so far they haven’t won anything.”

Looks like the royal couple already have something up their sleeves to start bringing in the dough.

Tonight, The Duke and Duchess of Sussex attended the annual #WellChildAwards in London. Looks like the Sussexes have been working on a top secret project. Variety reports that Prince Harry and Meghan have “quietly bought a project idea” from various media companies.

The details on the project are still super scary, but here’s what we know. The Sussexes secretly held meetings on the project in June and they would like to become co-producers
