Buckingham Palace is terrified that Meghan Markle will say nasty things about Kate Middleton during Sunday’s interview with Oprah Winfrey – but sources assure The Post the Duchess is only offering ‘kind words’ for her sister-in-law in the sit-down otherwise bombs.

Markle denounces Middleton – and exposes the dirty details of their infamous fracture – is feared as something that would cause “vast” damage to the British monarchy, the British newspaper Sun reported on Saturday.

A frightened source even described the interview as the equivalent of a ‘nuclear option’ for Markle, the Sun reported.

But a source familiar with Oprah’s interview, which aired on Sunday, told the Post that Buckingham Palace has nothing to worry about in this regard.

Meghan and Prince Harry had only “kind words” about Prince William and Kate, a CBS insider told The Post, denying that Oprah’s meeting would expose the extent of any rift between the quartet.

Still, royal watchers apprehensively await any bomb that may fall in Middleton’s path, especially given Markle’s overt discontent during her time in the UK, which she will describe as ‘nearly insurvable’.

“If she has chosen to speak candidly about her time with Kate, the damage that could be done to the monarchy is considerable,” royal sources told the UK Sun.

“She has the power to reveal how really bad things were between herself, Harry, William and Kate.

During the marathon conversation, Markle is also expected to discuss her relationship breakdown with her father Thomas Markle, who didn’t even attend the royal wedding.

“Oprah is likely to show Meghan snippets of what Thomas said – and then ask for her answer. It should lead to some dramatic moments, ”the source told The Sun.
