Meghan Markle joined her husband, Prince Harry, to have a good time in style at the premiere of the new edition of Disney's Lion King. The Duchess of Sussex has been largely absent from the public since she gave birth to her son Archie Harrison Mountbatten-Windsor on May 6th. However, over the next few weeks, she was spotted at a number of events, despite a planned three month maternity leave. This month, the new mother was spotted twice at Wimbledon, with Kate Middleton, Duchess of Cambridge at the polo match of her husband and brother-in-law Prince William and now at the Lion King premiere. But what did the Duchess of Sussex wear and who else witnessed this glittering event of stars?
Meghan Markle seduced crowds this afternoon at the Lion King's European premiere at Leicester Square on July 14th at her husband's arm.
The Buckingham Palace had previously confirmed that Prince Harry would tread the red carpet alongside stars such as Beyonce, Sir Elton John, Pharrell Williams and Chiwetel Ejiofor.
Prince Harry once confessed to having watched more than 20 times, being able to recite the words and songs of the heart and call it his favorite movie.
He is also close to Sir Elton John, who composed the musical with Sir Tim Rice.
The Duke of Sussex is also a big fan of King Lion, which would have led him to attend the premiere.
The special outing for new parents is very important because, at the beginning of their relationship, they had an appointment with the production of The Lion King on the West End in December 2016.
Last year, Sir Elton performed Circle of Life at the royal couple's wedding reception in front of 600 guests at Windsor Castle.
The first also attracted a number of notable participants.
Among them were Seth Rogen who plays Pumba in the new version of The Lion King, singer Elton John and director Guy Ritchie.

This premiere is expected to be linked to Disney's Protect Pride initiative, already announced at the same time as the film, which has allowed them to donate $ 1.5 million to the Lion Recovery Fund and its partners who are planning to release double fans.
The duke is the patron of the African Parks Network, a wildlife organization, and staff said conservation would be at the heart of the new Sussexes charitable foundation, which is set to be established later this year.
Earlier this month, the Duke and Duchess of Sussex shared their commitment to the environment and wildlife by selecting 15 charities, individuals and organizations to follow on Instagram to showcase work that everyone undertakes and the impact it has on the world.
