Meghan Markle wants to know precisely who calls her a bully – and she demands that Buckingham Palace name names.
The Duchess wants to see all documents, emails and texts related to the intimidation investigation launched against her by the Queen, The Mail on Sunday reported.
Meanwhile, both sides of the bullying line appear to be lawyers.
Buckingham Palace is considering hiring an independent law firm to investigate the allegations, according to another article in The Sun.
And the former “Suits” actress and lapsed royal is assembling her own legal team to overturn what a source calls a “calculated smear campaign based on misleading and harmful disinformation,” reports the Mail on Sunday.
Former collaborators of Markle and Prince Harry are eager to help with the royal inquiry into ‘bullying’ ordered by the Queen last week.
Markle was accused of creating a toxic work environment and allegedly reducing staff to tears while living at Kensington Palace after marrying Prince Harry in May 2018, according to a Times of London report published on March 2.
In one alleged incident, a royal aide told a colleague “I can’t stop shaking” as they anticipated a confrontation with the Duchess, The Times reported.
Buckingham Palace initially said it was launching its own investigation into the Duchess, but now appears interested in at least fostering the emergence of an independent investigation.
The bullying allegations came days before Markle’s explosive interview with Oprah Winfrey, which aired on CBS last Sunday.
On the two-hour show special, the Duchess revealed that her sister-in-law, Duchess of Cambridge Kate Middleton, had made her cry before her wedding, that she had not received help making the transition towards royal life and that a member of the royal family had expressed his concerns. “How dark” baby Archie would be when he was born, among other bombshell claims.
