Meitenkun has been revealed for King of Fighters 15. This is the first new character revealed for King of Fighters 15 since the reveal of the first trailer which featured Shun’ei, K ‘, Leona, Mai, Kyo, and Benimaru.
Of course, this is actually Meitenkun’s second appearance in the King of Fighters series as he debuted in King of Fighters 14. Along with Shun’ei, Meitenkun was formed by Tung Fu Rue.
This fighter is strange because he always seems very sleepy. Oddly enough, he tends to carry his pillow into battle with him.
Despite all of this, Meitenkun is still considered a very capable fighter in King of Fighters lore. Although Meitenkun has a very carefree demeanor, it should be noted that he often reigns victorious over Shun’ei, who is the protagonist of King of Fighters 14 and 15.
During the trailer, Meitenkun is able to attack with energy-based attacks. By putting his energy into his pillow, even attacks using the head pillow can inflict damage on opponents.
At the end of the trailer, we’re told to “tune in next week for more.” Check out the Meitenkun trailer below:
