Mel B addresses the "beautiful love story" with Eddie Murphy: We were "madly in love" (Exclusive)

Mel B still has a lot of love for his ex-boyfriend, Eddie Murphy.

Nischelle Turner from ET recently met the 43-year-old Spice Girls member about her new memoir Brutally honest, in which she discusses her formerly super private relationship with Murphy. Both are dated 2006 and share an 11 year old girl, Angel. Mel describes the legendary comedian as the "great love" of his life in his book and says that they had an intense and instant chemistry when they met.

"It's a beautiful story of love," says Mel B at ET. "I did not have a happy ending but the end was correct … And now he's in a perfect relationship with his lovely lady waiting for another baby."

Murphy, 57, is currently expecting his 10th child with his girlfriend Paige Butcher. Meanwhile, Mel B and Murphy did not really separate. The singer announced that she was pregnant with Angel in 2006 and named him father. However, he later stated publicly that he would believe in himself only if a paternity test was passed. Ultimately, that was the case and Murphy turned out to be the father.

In his book, Mel B says that Murphy was happy when he discovered that she was pregnant. "When I got pregnant with Angel, we jumped into her bathroom, laughing and crying, brimming with the best news," she writes. "My family found it great because she had never seen me so happy.Every day I got up and he told me that I was the most beautiful woman and the most more incredible, I have never felt so loved. "

Despite Murphy's initial denial of being Angel's father, Mel B now claims that she does not feel resentful of their time together.

"I mean, I'm basically a lover of love, and I'm a lover of the fairy tale of love and everything that goes with, you know, and we were madly in love," does she remember their intense relationship?

When asked if she still loves her, she responds, "I will always love her".

Mel B does not regret the relationship, even his decision to break up with Murphy.

"I do not know if there is something wrong or wrong with everything I've experienced," she says. "I mean, there are a lot of wrongs, but my way of handling things, that's how it happened, and I can not have regrets, I can not have, & Oh, I would have liked to do that, that's not part of my jargon when I'm talking about one of those situations in which I've been part of for 10 years. that is, we have a beautiful girl together and I can not say, "I wish that, or if only it would have been different", because it was not and it was not. ;is not. These days, Mel B says that Angel and his father have a close relationship, telling that Angel recently spent Thanksgiving with him and Butcher.
